Don’t mind me.
I’m just sitting in front of my old elementary school, contemplating the meaning of life.
Looking like my parents forgot to pick me up from school.
This post was inspired by several things. Social media will find a way to take you “back down memory lane.” The latest craze, “#imthisold,” requires you to dig up share an artifact a throwback pic of something that shows the world how old you truly are something fun from your childhood. Nostalgia really kicked in the weekend my nephews and I went on a neighborhood walk. This included walking past my old elementary school and taking them to the playground where I used to play as a child. Hearing them laugh as I shared about recess, gym class, the “Big Kids Yard” vs. the “Kindergarten Yard,” and all the other fun things I did (or couldn’t do) as a kid was everything! Taking that walk heightened my internal conversation on the “formula” of success passed down to my generation…
Seeing as this is a fashion post and all, you’ll just have to stay tuned for that one!
