It’s the last day of the year and I’m feeling super fancy.
2018 has been a crazy year for me. One thing that has kept me motivated is putting together looks that make me happy.
Let’s start with the star of the show (pun intended). Anyone who knows me knows that I am a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. They also know that I typically celebrate our team’s victories by playing Tank’s “You’re My Star” super loudly. I recently found this awesome star broach and felt it would be a great accessory for my gray coat. What better way to rep #CowboysNation than to rock this
star while shining like one?
We certainly cannot forget about this hat. You will never guess where I found it?

Yes, I discovered this sparkly, lurex beauty near the cash wrap. I was minding my own business and it gently whispered that I should buy it and its gold sister. I happily obliged its request, seeing as this silver number (which happens to be fleece lined), was an exact match for a pair of silver booties lying dormant in a box at the bottom of my closet.
The sweatshirt and jeans are from Old Navy. I felt wearing a shirt that reads, “Hello Good Times,” was the perfect way to welcome the coming new year.
The silver crossbody is by Steve Madden. I found it several months ago while wandering aimlessly around Ross. The silver booties are Forever 21, and the coat is by Jessica London.
