Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.-Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
It’s been a LOOOONG time since I’ve posted on this blog.
*sheepish grin*
So many things have happened since my last post that I cannot wait to blog about in posts to come.
Ironically, the last post I worked on but never posted was inspired by this verse.
Philippians 1:6 is actually one of my favorite verses. The saints at Philippi had been committed to Paul’s ministry from their first encounter with the Gospel until the time his letter to the church was received. In this chapter, Paul shows his appreciation for their faithfulness to the faith and spreading the message of the Gospel. Paul was confident that God would continue his work among them both individually and collectively.
I believe the same applies to us today.
2015 may have been an *insert adjective here* year.
That’s okay.
If God allows you to make it to 2016, he still has a work to complete in and through you.
You have a special stamp that reads:
To be continued.
Still haven’t reached your goals?
To be continued.
Still working to discover your purpose?
To be continued.
Developing a long list of New Year’s resolutions?
To be continued.
Not sure if you can keep those resolutions?
To be continued.
As long as you have breath, “The End” is not an option.
Continue to allow God to work in and through you in the coming New Year.
